Hospitality Management case study

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this case assignment is to learn about Walt Disney Company’s Motivation Techniques.

TASK:

In order to complete this case assignment, you will execute the following.

• Read the Disney Company’s case study found in Chapter 6 at the beginning of the chapter (Pages 153-155). Or in the Motivation: Practices and Application section in Chapter 6 of the E-Text
• Answer the following case questions.

1. How does the Walt Disney Company use both intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to motivate simultaneously?
2. How does Disney’s mission relate to corporate motivation?

• Provide at least two additional references to support your analysis of the case questions. This does not include the textbook! Be sure to cite your source within your posting and create a reference list at the end.
• Minimum of 400-600 words for this case study analysis.
